CSBK 01 RE
Here is an absolutely beautiful dug Confederate die struck "Breckenridge" pattern is large size "C.S." oval waist belt plate. This plate has a nice uncleaned brown-green patina with a "C.S." strike that you can see for miles. All three hooks are intact on the reverse. There are a couple of tiny, tiny freeze cracks around the rim but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the buckle. No repairs or monkey business here. Die struck Confederate belt plates this nice and complete are just not being recovered anymore. Dug years ago from a hospital site at the Battle of Franklin, TN.

CSBK 04 RE
This is an excavated Confederate "standard" frame buckle. Made of sand cast brass, it has a very pleasing olive green chocolate patina. The cross bar is broken and looks to be a period break. Probably why it was discarded. This buckle does have the slight body curve shape present. Nice inexpensive Confederate buckle. Provenance has this buckle as being recovered in Richmond, VA.

USBK 02 RE
Dug U.S. Belt plate with the arrow type hook variety. This buckle has a killer patina and has all 3 hooks intact. But there is some slight damage around the rim of the buckle. Buckle was excavated at Battle of Five Forks In Dinwiddie, VA.

USBK 10 RE
Excavated U. S. Oval Waist Belt Buckle. This example has a beautiful light brown-green patina and has retained 90% of it's lead on the back. The buckle has 2 digger dings on the rim of the face above the "S" but has all 3 of the hooks intact. This solid "puppy paw" plate was dug in Cheraw, S.C.

Dug U.S. Cartridge Box Plate. This plate has a beautiful dug chocolate brown patina. This plate has retained almost all of the lead in the back. There is still evidence of the iron hooks. Truely a wonderful plate. This plate was dug near Resaca, GA.

Dug U.S. Cartiridge Box Plate. This plate has a great greenish brown patina but unfortunately has some damage. The plate is flattened and the iron hooks on the back have pushed through and there is some damage around the rim. Plate was dug at Grandmother's" in 1978.

Dug US Eagle Breast Plate. This plate has a beautiful dirt-brown / green patina. The plate has some rim damage and there is some rust bleeding through on the breast of the eagle. The iron hooks on the back are long gone but this example has retained nearly 90% of it's lead. Provenance has this plate as being dug in Richmond, VA.

Dug SNY State of New York waist belt plate with a magnificent olive green dug patina. This buckle has some significant rim damage but has both stud hooks on the back. The back also has most of the lead but is missing the belt fastening hook. No provenance of where this buckle was dug.

USBK 72 RE
Excavated SNY State of New York waist belt buckle with a nice woodsy brown patina. The buckle has some rim damage and below the N there is a diggers ding. On the back there are some lead loss and the fastening hook is gone but both stud hooks are present. Buckle was excavated near Cold Habor, VA.
